I took this picture in London in 2006. The Noble pictured here features a mid-mounted European Ford V-6 twin turbo engine. Also, the car weighs very little. In a nutshell— affordable super car. Affordable in relative terms that is; it’ll cost you about $100,000 when all is said and done.
So I promised videos, so what more fitting for the winter season than a rally car jumping a giant kicker designed for snowboarders?
Old hat for some, seeing as how it’s from last season, but a badass video nonetheless.
Here is a newer video of the same dude, Ken Block. He’s the co-founder of DC Shoe Company, and fuck that guy. Uh, I mean… I want to be that guy. Here he is in some crazy drift/auto-cross/nuts-o autosport apparently called Gymkhana.
So, this is his own airstrip or something? Excellent! The multiple tire marks on the warehouse floor are marvelous. Block has done these tricks so many times that he’s perfected them into an art form.
